KMTEL.NET  has a pool of digital modems for your computer to connect to.  402-482-5978 is the telephone number that connects to our modems.  Speeds approaching 56 kbs may be obtained depending on your modem, the wire in your house, the way your telephone service is provided and the distance from our switching office. 

The telephone number your computer dials is located in your computer's Dial Up Networking settings.

• For Win98 you may change it by clicking on My Computer, then Dial Up Networking, then the right click on the connection you use. Choose Properties, and use the telephone number 402-482-5978. 
• For WinXP, click on Start, then My Network Places, then View My Network Connections, and then right click on the connection you use.  Choose Properties and enter the telephone number.
